But in particular the video, is an amazing creative 21st century version of the famous painting The School Of Athens by Raphael, using characters of lower socio-economic status in a room similar to the painting's background. But the song is about love and loss. And the triangle is his favourite shape. Nice.

I must admit, I still have not yet experienced this place yet.. but when I do, it will be during my next visit to Sydney. No doubt. This place definitely represents the electric red flavor

It is a Parisian style full service hair salon located a stone's throw from Central Station in Surry Hills, which is run by Samir Samaali. With 21 years of experience (ex 3D Salon in Paris and Wildlife in Sydney) who's also been working on glossy fashion magazines for the last 15 years in Paris, New York & Sydney. Le Garage is more than a hair salon, it's a home for music, art and fashion people to converge... Representing underground fashion labels such as BILLY KID  or LADY J and stocking Afro records from the late 60's to now, Trying to cover the different eras of the Soul Jazz Funk and Hip Hop but also the Afrobeat and Brazilian sounds from the 70's and 80's. It embodies the beauty of the rapidly expanding sub-cultures in Sydney.

As if the description above doesn't bring back to life the cat that died from curiosity!

RAP CULTURE: SOMETHING FROM NOTHING - THE ART OF RAP (DOCUMENTARY FILM)

SOMETHING FROM NOTHING: THE ART OF RAP is a feature length performance documentary about the runaway juggernaut that is Rap music. At the wheel of this unstoppable beast is the film's director and interviewer Ice-T.

According to Billboard, Ice-T has enlisted 50 different legend emcees, including Eminem, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Common, Nas and many others, to discuss the science behind their lyrical craft. He said that the current influence of pop music in Hip Hop led him to want to make a film discussing the serious art of rhyming.

"I've interviewed 50 emcees - everybody - [from] Kanye West, Ice Cube, Eminem to Melle Mell, Grandmaster Caz," explained Ice. "The Hip Hop scene [has] bec[o]me so pop. I was like, 'I'm gonna do a movie about real rappers and what inspired us.' Maybe that'll hit a reset button on the game and let these kids know it's not just about a pop record. Rap can do a lot."


The Art of Rap also features powerful appearances from rap veterans and originators like Ice Cube, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz and Immortal Technique. A trailer for the film can be seen below.

That is how miss Lady J best describes her style of art. She's already respectively flaunting her projects around Sydney. To name a few - Bondi Beach and a great laidback chilled night spot called Sol Lounge Bar.

Another local talent from Sydney - Mike Champion's Debut LP "Young Boy Old Soul". Beautiful is a ballad written to reflect the process of acknowledging the past and accepting the road ahead with open arms.

In his own words - "The video for the song depicts the lives of real homeless people living on the streets of Sydney. It aims to portray that throughout their struggles and situations, they to are Beautiful people in search of the one thing we need journey to find...That is LOVE!!!"
